1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using MyLocalLoo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the app

MyLocalLoo is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:

  • •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • •Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its backend services
  • •Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App in bulk

3. Your account, reviews and conduct

Some features — such as posting reviews or submitting a missing loo — require a free account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.

When you post a review, submit a venue, or contribute any other content, you must follow our Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines. You must not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or that reveals another person's personal information. You keep ownership of what you post but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within MyLocalLoo.

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Content may be screened automatically and reported by other users. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy — with or without notice. You can report content from within the app or by emailing support@mylocalloo.com.

4. Accuracy of information

Toilet and EV charger data is sourced from third-party public databases (Great British Public Toilet Map, OpenChargeMap, OpenStreetMap). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information shown in the App. Facilities may be closed, relocated, or unavailable at any time without notice.

Use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or harm resulting from reliance on information displayed in the App.

5. Premium subscriptions

MyLocalLoo offers optional Premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are:

  • •Processed and managed entirely by Apple through the App Store
  • •Subject to Apple's Terms of Sale
  • •Auto-renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • •Non-refundable for the current billing period once renewed, except where required by law

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → MyLocalLoo → Cancel Subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will retain Premium access until the end of the paid period.

In addition to these Terms, your use of auto-renewable subscriptions is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to all apps distributed through the App Store.

The free version of the App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob; subscribing to Premium removes ads. How advertising data is collected and your tracking choices are explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes to the App and terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
