Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

1. The short version

Our website (mylocalloo.com) uses only strictly-necessary cookies — the kind needed to keep the site secure and to keep a business owner signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we only use essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required under UK law (PECR), so we don't show one.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. "Strictly necessary" cookies are essential for a service you've asked for (such as logging in) and are exempt from the consent requirement. We also use your browser's local storage for small preferences, like remembering that you've dismissed a notice.

3. Cookies we use

  • Business sign-in session (Supabase)

Keeps you securely signed in to the business dashboard after you click your magic-link. Essential — only set if you sign in.

  • Security & bot-protection (Cloudflare / Turnstile)

Protects the site and forms from abuse and bots (e.g. on sign-in and the contact form). Essential.

  • Payments (Stripe)

When you go to checkout or the billing portal, Stripe sets cookies on its own pages to process the payment securely. Essential to that step.

  • Local preferences (local storage)

Remembers small choices like dismissing the development notice. Stays on your device; not sent to us.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the essential cookies above may stop parts of the site working — for example, you may not be able to sign in to the business dashboard or complete a payment.

5. Changes & contact

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example analytics), we will update this policy and add a proper consent banner first. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data. Questions: support@mylocalloo.com.
