Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 27 June 2026
1. Our commitment
Accessibility is central to what MyLocalLoo is for — helping everyone, including disabled people, find accessible facilities. We're committed to making the app and website usable by as many people as possible, and we keep improving them.
2. The app
- •Works with VoiceOver, with labels on controls and map pins.
- •Respects your iPhone's text size, Bold Text and Reduce Motion settings.
- •Offers a colour-blind-friendly map-pin palette and light/dark appearance.
- •Lets you filter for wheelchair access, baby changing, Changing Places and more.
3. The website
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA: it uses semantic structure and headings, is keyboard-navigable, aims for sufficient colour contrast, and respects reduced-motion preferences.
4. Known limitations
Interactive maps can be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. Where possible we provide alternatives — search, nearby lists and detail pages — so you can reach the same information without relying solely on the map. We're continuing to improve this.
5. Feedback
If you have trouble using any part of MyLocalLoo, or have a suggestion to make it more accessible, please tell us at support@mylocalloo.com — we welcome the feedback and will do our best to help.
